Free gameplay addon for Skyrim
Immersive Wenches is a free gameplay add-on for Skyrim that places barmaids and wenches into the inns and taverns for you to interact with. There are numerous wenches and maidens to interact with, each with individual interactive options and AI-guided paths.
Excellent alternatives if you're looking for additional NPCs or gameplay mechanics are Interesting NPCs SE, Campfire - Complete Camping System, and Deadly Wenches. They add new dialogue and interactions for NPCs, as well as adding new NPCs altogether. Immersive Wenches allow you to turn all additional NPCs into followers or spouses.
Wenches a-plenty
The Immersive Wenches mod adds 89 NPCs in total for varied gameplay. You can increase the number of NPCs added to 126. The default NPC frequencies are:
- Wenches/Barmaids: 47
- Maid Wenches: 14
- Bards: 3
- Vampire Wenches: 9
- Bodyguards: 5
- Merchants: 2
- Random orc: 1
- Others: 8
Expansion
Immersive Wenches supports expansion packs that add even more specialized wenches. Deadly Wenches, Hateful Wenches, Forgotten Wenches, and Judgment Wenches add more variety and in-game interaction options. They also increase Skyrim's population for a more immersive environment.
Working wenches
Wenches now come with AI-driven paths and daily routines. Each type of NPC has a slightly varied routine corresponding to its individual surroundings and purpose. All wenches spend their mornings walking around their city. You can interact with them and even obtain additional quests.
Their afternoons are spent preparing for work or visiting markets or other locations. In the evening's wenches head to their respective jobs and carry plates and drinks around. Later on in the night, wenches will rest until morning comes and their AI path begins again.
A well-rounded NPC addon
Immersive Wenches adds more variety and substance into Skyrim by placing interactive wenches into the local establishments. The wenches are clothed to seamlessly fit into the base game and don't seem out of place in the taverns and inns.
The latest version of Immersive Wenches implements various bug fixes. The newest patch also makes the mod more compatible with other add-ons and mods centered around NPCs inns and taverns. For best results, Immersive Wenches should be placed before any other mod that influences NPCs and social settings within the game; otherwise, you could experience graphical errors and conflicts resulting in crashes.
